Ils Des Pins - New Caledonia

This home page is under construction!

This remote island off the southern end of New Caledonia was a place we had never heard of until arriving in Noumea. The luxury of this favorite retirement spot for French millionaires combined with the private, pure-white sand beaches, craggy coral cliffs, and the tall pine trees (from which the island gets its name) standing against the constant southern breeze was a delight from the moment our small plane touched down on the grassy airfield.
